Meet Our Founder

Bishop Lewis E. Evans, D.Th., founded Soul Harvest Ministries in May 1994 and serves as Presiding Prelate of the Soul-winners Evangelism And Disciple-makers Interdenominational Fellowship (SEAD), organized in 1996.

Called to preach at four, he began pursuing that calling at 17. His preparation includes a Bachelor of Religious Education from Detroit Bible College (1977), master’s degrees in Biblical Counseling (1987) and Pastoral Studies (1991), and a Doctor of Theology from Faith Evangelistic Theological Seminary (1994).

The son of the late Bishop O.A. Evans and Mother Oxolla Evans, he grew up in a family rooted in church and prayer. He shares life and ministry with his wife, Dr. Lynda Evans, and is the loving father of two daughters, including Lead Pastor Brenda.

His ministry emphasizes evangelism, discipleship, and teaching God’s Word.
